Today’s AI Tool is Degreed

TLDR

Degreed is an AI-driven learning platform that helps organizations identify skill gaps and deliver personalized learning to upskill and reskill their workforce at scale.

Problem It Addresses

Enterprises struggle to keep pace with rapid industry changes due to fragmented learning systems and unclear visibility into workforce skillsets. Most HR leaders lack the tools to predict, assess, and develop the skills their organization truly needs to thrive.

Solution

Degreed provides an AI-enabled platform that centralizes skill data and curates personalized learning pathways to close skill gaps and improve workforce performance. It integrates with existing systems and partners to automate learning aligned with business goals.

Here’s how it delivers value:

  • Skill Intelligence: Uses AI to infer, assess, and track individual and organizational skill data across platforms.

  • Personalized Learning: Tailors learning experiences by role, skill need, or business priority through tools like Degreed Learning and Academies.

  • Scalability & Integration: Supports enterprise-scale adoption with proven success (e.g., 150,000 Capgemini employees trained in 10 weeks) and seamless tech integrations.

PRESENTED BY WORKOS

Free trials help AI apps grow, but bots and fake accounts exploit them. They steal tokens, burn compute, and disrupt real users.

Cursor, the fast-growing AI code assistant, uses WorkOS Radar to detect and stop abuse in real time. With device fingerprinting and behavioral signals, Radar blocks fraud before it reaches your app.

Joey’s GTM Idea of the Day

The formula for success in GTM (or anything)

Focus on the right things + accelerate your rate of learning = success

Most teams think success comes from doing more. More campaigns. More sequences. More activity. But GTM isn’t a volume sport. It’s an accuracy sport.

GTM works a lot like an archer training. The breakthrough never comes from firing a bunch of arrows. More shots don’t make you better. They just make you tired. The real shift happens when you pick one target and commit to it. Once the target is fixed, every arrow becomes feedback. Your grip. Your stance. Your release. Tiny adjustments that tighten your grouping fast.

That’s the formula. Focus on the right target, then accelerate how quickly you learn from each shot.

Here’s where most teams break down. They treat every segment, every message, and every play as equally important. So nothing compounds.

But when you narrow the focus, patterns appear.

Customer language repeats. Objections rhyme. Deals move for the same reasons. And because the signal is tight, your learning rate jumps.

I’ve seen companies go from scattered to sharp in weeks. They stopped chasing five markets and committed to one. Suddenly every call sounded familiar. Every loss taught them something real.

Every win clarified what mattered. Their learning curve bent upward because the focus finally held still.

How to Use This

  • Identify your highest signal area. Look for real pain, real urgency, and real pull.

  • Commit to it for a set period. No hedging. No dabbling.

  • Treat every customer touchpoint as a learning loop. What did you hear. What changed. What will you try next.

  • Tighten, tune, repeat. Learning compounds just like revenue.

If you focus on the right things and learn faster than your competitors, you win.
